Three days in Manila is the ideal length of time to see the sites and attractions of the capital city of the Philippines before becoming tired of the notorious traffic. One of the biggest cities in Southeast Asia is Manila. Due to its massive, hulking mass of districts and suburbs, the city is mostly used by tourists as a transportation hub for the tropical islands. Though it lacks beaches, Manila is among Asia’s most underappreciated cities. If you give the capital a chance, you’ll find some of the best restaurants and bars in the nation, as well as some of the best-preserved Spanish colonial architecture in the Philippines and a wide variety of top-notch museums. Here’s our 3-day guide to Manila to help you become inspired to explore the city.

Day-01: Depart Dhaka to Manila.

The most historic area of Manila, Intramuros, is where our three-day trip starts. Since the Spanish established their colonial forts here in the sixteenth century and would go on to control the nation for three centuries, this is really where modern Manila had its start. Take a morning stroll along Intramuros's (literally, "between the walls") historic, rebuilt streets, ramparts, and walls. Explore Fort Santiago, peer inside the graceful Manila Cathedral, and learn about the intricate past that lies beyond Intramuros' stone walls. To get to Rizal Park from Intramuros, you can either walk there or, if it gets too hot, get in a Grab car. This is one of the most famous and enjoyable things to do in Manila, and you'll notice that there are always a lot of people in this large public park. The park is named for the national hero Dr. Jose Rizal, who sacrificed his life to achieve independence from Spanish rule. You can view his monuments. Walk around and toward the museums, which are located away from Manila Bay at the far end of the park. The best museums in the city can be found near the further end of the park, providing an afternoon of historical and cultural exploration together with a cool respite from the intense heat of the day. The National Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Fine Arts are housed in a collection of imposing, publicly owned, neoclassical buildings. After the temperature has dropped once more, take a stroll through Rizal Park in the evening, when most people in Manila are enjoying the crisp air, and then head to Malate, which is nearby, for dinner.

Day-02: Full day sightseeing at Manila city.

Explore the Binondo neighborhood to begin the second day of your three-day trip to Manila. One of the oldest Chinatowns in the world is this one, which is located across the river from Intramuros. The greatest area in Manila to experience the diversity of the city is Binondo, where Chinese immigration and influence have blended with Filipino ancestry for three centuries to produce a distinct culture. Though you may explore the lively marketplaces, see the famous Binondo Cathedral, and visit traditional Chinese temples, the neighborhood is probably most recognized for its cuisine. Savor sizzling dumplings for breakfast and lunch in Chinatown, or fill up on bowls of noodles. For additional information on the history and cuisine of the region, consider enrolling in a Binondo culinary tour.
It's time to travel across the city to explore a more contemporary aspect of Manila after touring Binondo. Take a Grab car to Makati, the city's most emerging area and bustling business center. Dropped off at the Ayala Triangle, you can meander past elegant shopping centers and lovely gardens before visiting the first-rate Ayala Museum. You can spend hours looking through the exhibits and archaeological artifacts on display at this art, history, and culture museum. Once you have had enough of museums, it's time to start discovering Makati's top eateries and pubs. Go to Poblacion to locate rooftop eateries or speakeasy-style cocktail bars that transform into late-night DJ hangouts once the sun sets over Manila Bay.

Day-03: Depart at Manila to Dhaka.

One of the greatest things to include on your Manila itinerary for your third and last day in the city is actually located outside of the capital. A working plantation, Villa Escudero provides an excellent opportunity to get away from the city and explore the countryside. On a day excursion from Manila, you may discover more about this old coconut farm in the forest. In addition to being a sort of eco-adventure playground, you may stroll through the forest, raft down the river in bamboo, and take in vocal and dance performances. The Labasin Waterfall Restaurant is the ultimate destination when visiting Villa Escudero; by midday, you'll be savoring your food while submerged ankle deep in the water. With a typical Filipino lunch served at rustic bamboo tables and chairs set up in the plunge pool of a thundering waterfall, you'll feel completely surrounded by nature. Enjoy a sunset over Manila Bay on your final evening before leaving for the city. The SM Mall of Asia is the ideal location from which to achieve that. One of the biggest shopping centers in Asia, this massive entertainment and retail complex is a favorite hangout for residents. Along with the many stores, there are pubs and restaurants that provide fantastic sunset views over Manila Bay. Now that you know everything there is to do in Manila in three days, you should have a fantastic notion of what to do. From there, it will be simple to travel to Palawan, Cebu, or any other part of the Philippines.
