Tourist Visa Requirement

  1. Travel document:

Copy of a passport’s bio page and cover page with a validity period of at least six months.

Include all previous passport copies, as well as visa copies.

  1. Form of Visa Application:

the Application must complete the visa application form online.

  1. Photo:

Two current, matte or semi-matte, passport-sized photos.

Photos should have a white backdrop and no borders, and 3.60–80% of the picture should be visible (Size: 35mm x 45mm).

Please note that current images cannot be more than three months old, cannot have been used in a prior visa application, and must be scanned or stapled.

  1. Briefing Memo:

Cover Letter from applicant including Name, Passport Number, DesignationPurpose, and outlining who will be liable for the entire cost of the trip – travel, lodging, expenses, and so on. The letter should be addressed to – Uganda’s Director General of Immigration. The subject line must include the Visa Category.

  1. Trip Specifics:

Copy of a day-by-day trip itinerary or tour voucher from a licensed tour operator.

Occupation Verification Sixth:

  1. Letter of Recommendation:

A letter from the office, such as a NOC/LOI letter on the organization’s letterhead pad, stating the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, the purpose of visit, duration of stay, sponsorship status, and so on. Addressed to: Uganda’s Director General of Immigration.

Certified photocopies of trade licenses/certificates of incorporation/memorandums (if self-employed/businessman)

Copy of an official I.D. card/Visiting card

  1. Finances

Copy of bank statement (salary)/personal bank statement for the last six months mentioning the bank’s name, telephone number, and authorized bank seal and signature (e-statement is not acceptable) (e-statement is not sufficient)

  1. Admission:

Based on your travel dates, create an itinerary for your tickets.

Book a Hotel Room:

Hotel reservations are based on your travel dates.

  1. Medical:

A Yellow Fever Certificate is required.
