Tourist Visa Requirement

This is a simple list of required visa documents depending on the designated Embassy or visa office. You may include other supporting documents in your application depending on the nature of your intended visit and your visa category. Authentic Passport with at least two blank pages and a validity period of at least six months beyond the planned departure date.

Application for a Visa in Austria: The visa application form has to be filled out and signed by the applicant.

It is necessary to provide two current passport-size photos with a matte or semi-matt finish, 60-80% facial coverage, a white background, and no borders (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please be aware that the picture must be fresh—less than three months old—be scanned/stapled, and it cannot have previously been used for a visa.

The applicant’s name, position, passport number, and intended use should all be included in the cover Letter. It should also state who will be responsible for paying the entire cost of the trip, including airfare, hotel, and other expenditures. The visa officer at the Austrian Embassy in Dhaka is the recipient.

Travel insurance must provide coverage for the whole Schengen region. The insurance must reimburse medical expenses, hospitalization, and repatriation costs of up to 30,000 Euros. The insurance must cover your complete stay in the Schengen region.

10) Civil status-related documents for the applicant:

For married candidates, a marriage certificate (such as a “Nika Namah” for Muslims or a marriage deed for Hindus, both translated into English)
