Business Visa Requirement

1) Passport You must provide a copy of the biographical page from a passport with at least six months left on its expiration date.

2)Include not just the visa paperwork but also any previous copies of your passport (Scanned)

3) Photograph: a recent, passport-sized picture

4)A Covering Letter.

 A cover letter from the applicant outlining their identity, position, passport number, the reason for travel, and who will cover all of the trip’s expenditures. Send your correspondence to the Ethiopian Director General of Immigration. Please specify your visa type in the email’s subject line (Recommended)

5) Invitation Letter

 A letter on company letterhead from the Ethiopian host/inviting company to the Director General of Immigration, Ethiopia, detailing the business purpose of the trip, the name of the conference/meeting, the dates and location of the event, and the length of time the invited individual will be in Ethiopia.

6) Pay stubs or bank statements from the last six months that include your name, address, phone number, and an authorized bank seal and signature are required under item (e-statement is not acceptable) (Recommended)

7) An itinerary for your ticket, depending on the dates of your travel (Recommended)

8) Book a hotel for the length of your vacation. (Recommended)

Note that files must be smaller than 2MB and in one of the following formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, or PDF. PDF files are not accepted for passport photos or copies.
