1. Passports: a) You need to carry your current passport and any expired passports with you, and your current passport has to be valid for at least six months after your departure date. Make sure you have at least two blank pages in your passport to get your visa stamps.
2. c) Carry on your person any and all previously issued passports and visas for those who own any.

If (c) your passport is somewhat dated. Provide all of your expired passports as attachments. Applicants are required to produce a copy of the first and final pages of their passports.

1. d) In the event that a visa application is refused, the original denial letter from the relevant government agency must be shown.

U.K. Visa Application:

The applicant fills out and signs just one visa application form, which is printed back to back.

The photos must be current and in passport size with a matte or semi-matte finish (two photos are required).

In order to be considered, photos need to have a white backdrop and no borders, and 3.60–80% of the picture should be in view (Size: 35mm x 45mm).

Please note that current images cannot be more than three months old, must be scanned or stapled, and have never been used for a visa application before.

Enclosing Letter:

Each application form includes the sender’s full name, passport number, position held, and reason for travel. Include in your Letter to The Visa Officer, British Embassy, Dhaka, the name and address of the person who will be financially responsible for your whole trip, including airfare, hotel, and incidentals. Please include the Visa Category in the subject line.

Copying and Forwarding:

1. A company-issued letter of authorization (NOC) that includes the applicant’s name, passport number, designation, the reason for travel, and length of stay.
2. School or university confirmation of visa application or student I.D. card/proof of enrolment (if student)

Confirming Your Profession:

A certificate of business registration is required whether the applicant is a first-time traveler or a solo owner (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original).

1. Extra copies of employee I.D. cards and guest passes

Money:

Business or personal bank statements from the last six months that include the bank’s name and contact information.

1. W-2s and pay stubs from the prior six months (If applicable)
