A five-day trip to Brazil can concentrate on visiting one or two neighboring cities, spending time in nature (whether it a sandy beach or a dense rainforest), or visiting a few locations separated by a short flight. Get to know Rio de Janeiro well or split your stay between Foz do Iguaçu and Rio to climb to the Iguaçu Falls. As an alternative, take a tour of the Amazon’s waterways, wildlife, and people to learn about its ecosystems; cook like a local and lounge on Bahia’s beaches; or go scuba diving and snorkeling on Fernando de Noronha’s exclusive beaches.

Highlights

  • Discover Rio de Janeiro's historical district, where culture, Carnaval, and samba collide.
  • Climb Sugarloaf Mountain to get a 360-degree perspective of the city.
  • Get to Corcovado Hill's summit to meet Cristo Redentor.
  • Experience a boat trip of the world's largest waterfall system, Iguaçu Falls.

Day-01: Depart at Dhaka to Rio de Janeiro, Sugarloaf Mountain Walk. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Greetings from Brazil. Your driver will be waiting to take you to your Rio de Janeiro hotel after you land at the airport. The city is ideal for those who are looking for adventure because of its alluring beauty, vibrant cultural scene, and diverse geography, which includes mountains, tropical woods, and gorgeous beaches. Discover the warmth and kindness of Cariocas, as the inhabitants are called, as you get to know the "Marvelous City." See the largest urban forest in the world, pay homage to the samba's origin, or browse the unique gifts at the city's Feira Hippie de Ipanema (Hippie Market). This afternoon, take a visit of the renowned Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar) to orient yourself. You climb down the Claudio Coutinho route for 45 minutes, and then take a cable car to the summit. Pão de Açúcar is named by the mountain's similarity to traditional sugar loaf, and it rises 1,299 feet (396 meters) above the harbor. Take in the breathtaking sweeping views of the city before riding the cable car back to your hotel to spend the remainder of the evening relaxing. Try the local pubs in Ipanema and Copacabana, or have a casual meal at a restaurant by the beach.

Day-02: Visiting at the Carioca Lifestyle & Rio de Janeiro's Carnaval. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Authentic Carioca and Carnaval culture will be presented to you today on a walking tour led by a local expert. Highlights include the vibrant Saara Shopping District, home to bargain seekers, and the conical-shaped São Sebastião Cathedral. After that, visit the Contemporary Art Museum (MAC) to marvel at its spaceship-like architectural design and the CRAB Museum to witness an extensive collection of traditional Brazilian handicrafts. After enjoying a buffet lunch at one of Brazil's oldest restaurants, Confeitaria Colombo, visit the samba music's origin, Pedra do Sal, a historic enclave. This tour to a samba school will give you an inside look at Brazil's Carnaval celebrations behind the scenes. You will observe individuals hard at work during this year-long process of creating floats, constructing costumes, and practicing dance routines, even if you aren't here for the real Carnaval. To experience Brazilian samba, try on some clothes and pick up some percussion. Before heading back to your hotel, savor a delectable caipirinha, Brazil's national cocktail prepared with cachaça (sugar cane liquor) and lime.

Day-03: Visiting at Corcovado & Christ the Redeemer Tour, Fly to Foz do Iguaçu. Overnight stay at Hotel.

A visit to Cristo Redentor, often known as Christ the Redeemer, Rio's most famous monument and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, is a must for any traveler visiting the city. This enormous statue of Christ is perched atop the 2,300-foot-high (700-meter) Corcovado Mountain, looking down kindly and holding out his arms to the amazing city below. The first part of your tour of this century-old monument is an early morning transport from your accommodation into Tijuca National Park, the world's largest urban park at 8,300 acres (3,359 ha). A train will transport you to the summit of Corcovado from the base via a verdant jungle. Cristo Redentor, standing 98 feet (30 meters) tall, is the biggest Art Deco statue ever constructed. Approximately two million people visit this sculpture every year in awe; in addition, it offers the best perspective of Rio. From here, views go far north to the nearby city of Duque de Caxias, as well as Guanabara Bay, Rio de Janeiro, and the beaches in the south. Even the eastern cities of Niterói and São Gonçalo are visible across the water. Following the tour, it's time to say goodbye to Rio as a driver drives you to the airport for the two-hour flight to Foz do Iguaçu, which is situated in Brazil's far south near the Argentina border. A driver and tour guide will be there to pick you up from the airport and drive you to your hotel in the city.

Day-04: Full day Visiting at Iguaçu Falls & Gran Aventura Boat Tour. Overnight stay at Hotel.

You will see one of the greatest natural wonders of the world today at the neighboring Iguaçu Falls. Born out of a volcanic explosion, an amazing 257 distinct cascades stream from a cliff in a massive free-fall that is as tall as a 24-story skyscraper. This is an unmissable site. This enormous phenomena is so strong that it spans 1.7 miles (2.7 km), bordering both Argentina and Brazil. Take a trek on either of the two routes for breathtaking views of the falls. While the top circuit offers a glimpse of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) and all the drops and delta islands, the lower circuit allows you to stay in close proximity to the natural world. In the afternoon, continue your exploration of the jungle with a picturesque boat excursion and group safari. Start with a drive to the Puerto Macuco forest base along the Yacaratiá narrow route. From there, boats will transport you 3.7 miles (6 km) through the lower Iguaçu River Canyon to the waterfalls. Proceed to Salto Tres Mosqueteros for a glimpse of the Brazilian and Argentine borders. After the tour concludes on San Martin Island, you'll head back to your accommodation via the park gate.

Day-05: Fly to Rio de Janeiro & Depart at Brazil to Dhaka. End of the tour.

This morning, take one more look at Iguaçu before your driver takes you to the airport to catch your aircraft back to Rio and further arrangements. Happy travels.
