Day-01: Depart at Dhaka and Arrive in Stockholm, Explore & Ghost Walk. Overnight stay at hotel.

Welcome to Stockholm. Sweden is well-known for its cutting-edge modern technology and design, but it also has a rich history and legacy, which is exemplified in Stockholm. Known as the "Venice of the North" for its picturesque location on a 14-island archipelago and as a European rival to Silicon Valley for its digital start-ups, this city of contrasts will supply you with history, culture, gastronomy, and natural beauty wherever you look. Take the Arlanda Express from the airport and check into your accommodation before exploring. Breathe in each district's particular environment, which is easily accessible by foot or public transportation. Explore Södermalm and Östermalm, including Gamla Stan (Old Town) and Norrmalm, the vibrant downtown district. A 90-minute tour of Old Town is a wonderful way to learn about the city's more colorful (read: horrific) history. Your guide will take you through the district's winding alleyways and lanes, detailing the renowned murder and mayhem that have occurred there.

Day-02: Full day sightseeing at Stockholm tour. Overnight stay at hotel.

If you want to explore all of the city's main sights in a one day, take a guided tour. An all-inclusive trip, limited to a maximum of seven persons, will pick you up from your door and return you at the conclusion of the day, complete with the city's best sights and cuisine. Your first visit will be the Kungliga Slottet (Royal Palace of Stockholm), where you can see the spectacular architecture and Swedish crown jewels while learning about the royal family's history and roles. Next, visit the Vasa Museum, which holds the amazing 17th-century warship of the same name. Take a break for lunch in the best seats at a high-end restaurant. Following that, you'll walk through Old Town, passing by the Stockholm Cathedral and the Nobel Museum, which honors Nobel Prize winners. The final stop is Skansen, the world's oldest open-air museum. Walking through old buildings, gardens, and farmsteads will teach you about traditional life and culture from all across the country. This unique museum is popular with both locals and tourists, and it also houses an aquarium and a zoo. If you time it right, you can attend one of the seasonal festivals or concerts. After that, your driver will drop you off at your hotel for the evening.

Day-03: Visiting at Viking History Day Tour, Sigtuna & Uppsala. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Today, take a guided tour of Viking history, which will take you to some of Sweden's most historic towns and ruin sites. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to all of the top Viking-themed attractions. Discover where they held their parliament and read about the important decisions made there. Explore Jarlabanke's Bridge, which was erected by a prominent Viking commander, and learn about the Old Norse language, runes, and burial traditions. Prepare for some surprises as you learn about Estrid, the Viking woman who traveled to Jerusalem, and other intriguing stories. Sigtuna, Sweden's oldest town, was founded in 980 CE. It is home to the most runestones on the earth, as well as castles, churches, and several more remains. The city layout has rarely changed in 1,000 years! You'll also spend time in Uppsala, one of Sweden's oldest towns. Uppsala, one of Sweden's four major towns, has historic burial mounds, castles, and churches as well as modern attractions. Your guide will then return you to your lodging.

Day-04: Full day enjoy at Nordic Food Walk & Royal Swedish Opera. Overnight stay at hotel.

Today's Nordic Food Walk shifts your emphasis to present Swedish culture. Begin at Östermalm, the stomping ground of the rich and famous, and learn about local ways of producing cheese, game meat, and "The Gold of the North," Sweden's most recognized beer. Next, go to the Market Hall to sample high-end foods. Lunch will be served in the center of the city, consisting of traditional meatballs and potatoes. Learn about the many varieties of potatoes and accompanying jams to gain a fresh respect for a classic dish. After lunch, stretch your legs in the lovely King's Garden before finishing off in the Old Town with a feast of traditional chocolates and sweets. After your tour, you'll want to visit the Royal Swedish Opera, which has been the city's cultural and artistic hub since 1782. Attending a play, ballet, or opera allows you to experience the wonder of live performance. There's also plenty of opportunity to explore the Opera House, one of the world's oldest and most prestigious buildings. Admire the gorgeous marble staircase, chandeliers, and elaborate frescoes, all of which are excellent examples of neoclassical architecture. After that, you have the evening to have a fantastic dinner and explore Stockholm's nightlife.

Day-05: Depart at Stockholm to Dhaka. End of the tour.

Unfortunately, it is your final day in Stockholm. If you have some time before your trip, take a final stroll through town. Look for gifts, or for more serious shopping, visit Drottninggatan, the main retail street. Before you leave, make sure to stop at one of the many cafés for a fika, or coffee break. Make sure to include a cinnamon bun or a slice of princess cake! When it's time, get your luggage and take the Arland Express back to the airport. Safe travels!
