This is a simple list of required visa documents depending on the designated Embassy or visa office. You may include other supporting documents in your application depending on the nature of your intended visit and your visa category. Authentic Passport with at least two blank pages and a validity period of at least six months beyond the planned departure date.

1. a) A copy of any previously issued passports or visas.
2. b) Provide copies of all previous passports (if any).
3. c) The details from the official Letter the country’s authorities issued are preferred if a visa request is rejected.

Application for a Visa in Austria: The visa application form has to be filled out and signed by the applicant.

It is necessary to provide two current passport-size photos with a matte or semi-matt finish, 60-80% facial coverage, a white background, and no borders (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please be aware that the picture must be fresh—less than three months old—be scanned/stapled, and it cannot have previously been used for a visa.

The applicant’s name, position, passport number, and intended use should all be included in the cover Letter. It should also state who will be responsible for paying the entire cost of the trip, including airfare, hotel, and other expenditures. The visa officer at the Austrian Embassy in Dhaka is the recipient.

5) Forwarding Letter:

1. a) A forwarding letter or NOC from the applicant’s firm authority on letterhead with the applicant’s name, title, passport number, and intended use and length of stay.
2. b) A letter from the educational institution asking for a visa, a student ID, or enrollment documentation (if student)

6) If the applicant is a business owner or a first-time traveler, evidence of employment: a) Certificate of company registration (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original). b) Copy of the visitor cards and office ID cards.

7) Financials: a) A personal bank statement for the last six months that includes the name and phone number of the Bank.

1. c) The last six months’ worth of pay stubs. (If appropriate)

8) Airline & Hotel Reservations: Ticket Itinerary & Hotel Booking

Travel insurance must provide coverage for the whole Schengen region. The insurance must reimburse medical expenses, hospitalization, and repatriation costs of up to 30,000 Euros. The insurance must cover your complete stay in the Schengen region.

10) Civil status-related documents for the applicant:

For married candidates, a marriage certificate (such as a “Nika Namah” for Muslims or a marriage deed for Hindus, both translated into English)
