Begin and conclude in Bucharest! The In-depth Cultural travel 5 Days Trip in Romania is a 5-day travel package that takes you through Bucharest, Romania, as well as eight other cities in Romania. A five-day trip to Romania includes hotel accommodations, an expert guide, and other amenities. For this 5-day tour of Romania, we have chosen a variety of rich sensory experiences, from medieval sites to a taste of the wilderness, with deep forests, vibrantly colored wildflowers, and fresh mountain air (in the right season), all the way to modern exhibits, and a dash of traditional herbs and spices with the delicious foods we will try in each medieval town we visit.

Day-01: Bucharest City Tour

This Bucharest tour was designed to cover the most of the city's significant historical events. This tour is suitable for all types of tourists, including seasoned travelers, culture lovers, foodies, and those who value art and beauty. Beginning with the National Village Museum and the Arch of Triumph and progressing to Calea Victoriei (Victory Avenue), the Romanian Athenaeum, Revolution Square (where dictator Ceausescu was forced to flee the country), historical monuments, the Bucharest Old City Centre, and, of course, Ceausescu's Palace of Parliament or People's House (the world's second largest administrative building after the Pentagon). We spent the night in Bucharest.

Day-02: Departure for Sibiu

Depart for Sibiu. Curtea de Arges, Poenari Castle. Transfagarasan (only from June to September). Sibiu City Tour Overnight Stay in Sibiu Did you know that Curtea de Arges is notable for the significant royal tombs it houses? Everyone understands that truly wonderful, beautiful, and long-lasting things need sacrifice, as you will discover when you arrive at the historic town of Curtea de Arges. With a rich and exciting past, this is where you can visit the remnants of the Wallachian princely court, the 13th century Royal Church, and the famed Arges Monastery, an important historical landmark with an interesting but tragic story.

Day-03: Biertan and Sighisoara Citadel

According to mythology, circa 1512, master Manole and his 9 stonemasons were contracted to construct a magnificent cathedral, but no matter what they produced, it would collapse by morning. The solution came to Manole in a dream, and he had to sacrifice his wife Ana by confining her within the church's walls, which were completed in 1517. And this is only the beginning of a vacation that will provide you with many beautiful and unforgettable moments. See more information on The Curtea de Arges Monastery. If you are in Transylvania, Sibiu is a must-see tourism destination with a 900-year history. A city tour that will help you understand why Sibiu was chosen as the European Capital of Culture. It includes the Evangelical Cathedral, the Sibiu Old City Center, and the town itself, which are among the most popular tourist attractions in Romania because they cater to every taste and provide a wonderful travel experience for even the pickiest of tourists. If you appreciate authentic cultural experiences, whether you are romantic or daring, you will find all you need to unwind and enjoy yourself, forget about the stresses of everyday life, and have a fun and memorable trip. The splendor of this old citadel, which has achieved record-breaking recognition, originates from its architecture, street layout, cultural and artistic legacy, and stunning natural landscape, as the town is flanked on two sides by the mountains Fagaras and Lotru. We spent the night in Sibiu. Departure for Sighisoara, Biertan. Sighisoara Citadel  Stay overnight in Sighisoara and visit the Biertan Fortified Church. The UNESCO World Heritage Centre has classified the Biertan Fortified Church, one of the early Transylvanian Saxon settlements in Ardeal, as a historical site of stunning beauty. Every year, hundreds of thousands of tourists visit to learn why there has only been one divorce in three centuries and to observe the two other features that distinguish this location. The Biertan Fortified Church, located in a little village dating back to 1224, impresses with its breathtaking setting and unique construction - erected on a mound in the center of town and surrounded by three defensive walls and seven bastions. Sighisoara Did you know that Sighisoara's citadel was constructed in the 12th century? If you want to go back in time and see what life was like in the Middle Ages, you must visit Sighisoara, Romania's medieval town and the birthplace of Count Dracula (really Vlad the Impaler). The Sighisoara Citadel, built in 1280, is not just one of Romania's most popular tourist attractions; it is also a real, breathing medieval stronghold, having been inhabited for more than 700 years, which is rather unusual. In fact, after just a few steps down the cobblestone lanes, past the gates and towering stone walls that reach up to 14 meters, you'll know you've arrived in one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities. As a result, it is not surprising that the Romanian fortress has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site for historical and cultural significance.

Day-04: Dracula's Castle and Brasov

Departure to Brasov Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), the Black Church, and Old Town Brasov. Overnight stay in Brasov. Visit Bran Castle, a place of myth and history. Because his fictional portrayal of Dracula's castle so closely resembles Bran's, it is widely assumed that Bram Stoker used accounts of it to construct the fictitious abode of Count Dracula. Outside the castle, you can sample a variety of traditional dishes, including homemade cheeses, pálinka (plum and pear brandy), and freshly cooked ham and sausages. Next, visit the beautifully preserved medieval town of Brasov, located in the Carpathian Mountains' foothills. Your guide will take you on a walking tour of the Old Town, where you will see the Black Church, the Old Town Square, and the city walls built in the Middle Ages. You'll have free time to soak in the unique ambiance at one of Brasov's many beautiful cafés.

Day-05: Peles Castle and Dracula's Tomb

Peles Once, there was a gorgeous castle. If you've decided to write your memoirs or brag about seeing the most beautiful castles in Europe, the Romanian royal family's summer palace is by far one of the most important tourist sites in Romania and Europe, and you'll discover why. Every year, thousands of significant personalities and hundreds of thousands of tourists plan tours of Romania solely for this site, hoping to admire its grandeur and feel like royalty for a few hours. You may visit the "crown jewel" of the Carpathians and have an unforgettable travel experience in this medieval castle, which took 41 years to build (1873–1914). The Orthodox establishment is almost 300 years old and known as "the Cathedral of the Carpathians" due to its location in Romania's most attractive mountain resort, surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscape. It was also the first building in this area, established by Prince (Spatarul) Mihai Cantacuzino. He decided to build the house of worship after a journey to the Holy Land, and its name was inspired by Mount Sinai. This private tour will teach you about the very contentious narrative of Vlad Tepes' death, which tells us how a group of monks were able to discreetly carry the ruler's earthly remains to Snagov Monastery and bury them in front of the altar to be sanctified. If you wish to understand more about Dracula's/Vlad Tepes' grave, as well as the lovely island and monastery of Snagov, schedule a city break in Bucharest. You booked the hotel yourself.
