Day-01: Depart at Dhaka to Cambodia. Overnight stay at hotel.

Greetings from Cambodia! You will be greeted at the airport and driven to your accommodation upon your arrival in the storied town of Siem Reap. Siem Reap, the entry point to Angkor, was originally populated in 802, but by the time the French arrived in the 19th century and'rediscovered' the ancient temple city in the surrounding forest, it was nothing more than a village. For good reason, the most visited tourist attraction in Cambodia these days is Angkor Wat, also known as Temple City, which is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The largest religious structure in the world, Angkor Wat, will be your first stop on your afternoon tour of the well-known temple complex. Angkor Wat is not like the other Angkor temples in that it faces westward, which is usually the direction of death. The temple is surrounded on all sides by a spectacular moat, to which a lengthy causeway leads. Spend some time examining some of the 3,000 Apsara, or "heavenly maidens," carvings and bas-reliefs scattered throughout the temple. Each one is unique. The light of the late afternoon is ideal for observing and taking pictures of this architectural marvel. Once the sun sets over the famous temple, you'll depart from the Angkor complex and ride a tuk-tuk back to the town. You'll make a stop along the way to check out the night market. A vast variety of unique and exotic delicacies may be found here, including fried or stuffed frogs, deep-fried insects like water beetles and crickets, fertilized duck eggs, and dishes like noodles, fish, and tapioca desserts. Join the locals in enjoying these traditional treats while sitting on mats on the ground to get a more genuine taste of Siem Reap. After, you can choose to go on to a restaurant or make your way back to the hotel.

Day-02: Visit Angkor Thom, Apsara Dance Performance. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Get up early today and spend as much time as possible in the cooler morning air by visiting the temples to take in the stunning dawn light. Return to the city around midday to unwind throughout the hottest parts of the day. Your day will begin with a ride in a remork (a Cambodian tuk-tuk) to the temples. The final capital of the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom, is an ancient walled city that is home to some of the most stunning temples and structures in the Angkor complex, including the well-known Bayon temple. Today, you will be touring this city. At the close of the 12th century, Jayavarman VII constructed Bayon, the sole intentionally constructed Buddhist temple in Angkor, as the focal point of his walled city. Some claim that the 216 enormous stone faces of the temple have a remarkable likeness to the 'Warrior King', while others claim that they are similar to Avalokitesvara or Lokesvara, the bodhisattva of mercy. Make your own decision while we explore the ancient temple. Then, we'll go to the Terrace of the Leper King, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Baphoun. Head back to the downtown around midday. After checking out the markets, riverfront, and old streets of this serene city, spend the afternoon lounging at the hotel or experiencing a traditional Apsara dance performance and a tasty Khmer dinner. This exquisite dance was first seen in the Angkorian court of kings and has remained unchanged for centuries.

Day-03: Siem Reap Village Cookery Class, Phare Circus. Overnight stay at hotel

After a quick journey outside of Siem Reap this morning, you'll visit a small village to learn about traditional foods and growing techniques and have the opportunity to try your hand at creating a three-course meal in a cooking session with locals. Though less popular than Thai or Vietnamese cuisine, Khmer food is probably just as delicious, blending spices and seasonal fresh ingredients to create interesting and savory dishes. Following your appointment with your chef, you will stroll through the hamlet to visit a local family and observe the various crops as they grow and are farmed. After picking some food and learning about farming methods, return to the culinary school, where you'll get lost while learning about the background of Khmer cuisine amid rice paddies and palm trees. After enjoying the results of your effort, head back to the city, where you can spend the afternoon lounging about or doing more exploring. Experience a captivating show of Phare, the Cambodian Circus, put on by skilled performers from Phare Ponleu Selpak in the evening. The Phare Circus began as an initiative to support young people in using art as a means of self-expression in refugee camps. It has gradually gained international recognition and is a fantastic success story for responsible tourism. The one-hour performance combines dance, music, theater, contortionism, and juggling. Transfer from Siem Reap village to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Day-04: Angkor City Tour. Overnight stay at hotel.

Leave the hotel around 5 am to experience sunrise at the pyramid-shaped Pre Rup. Ascend the lion-guarded staircase for an excellent view over the forest canopy, and see the sun rise over the rice paddies with the iconic towers of Angkor Wat in the distance. Make your way to Sra Srang, the royal bathing pool, with a quick stop-off in a nearby village to enjoy an authentic Cambodian breakfast soup—an energizing blend of rice noodles and a fish-based green curry gravy made from lemongrass, kaffir lime, and turmeric, topped with fresh greens—freshly prepared by a local family in their traditional wooden house. Reboard your tuk-tuk for the trip to Ta Prohm, the following site on the Angkor City itinerary, after you've had your fill. Ta Prohm is one of the most photographed temples in the ancient city because of the enormous strangler fig branches and roots that are gradually returning the temple to the forest. It is arguably the most well-known temple in the complex, second only to Angkor Wat itself. This 12th-century edifice, also referred to as the "Tomb Raider" temple, is quite the sight. You have the rest of the day ahead of you. You can visit Grand Circuit temples including Preah Khan and Ta Som with the assistance of your guide and driver. As an alternative, you could decide to travel a little farther and see the stunning Banteay Srei, also known as the Citadel of the Women. Savor a pre-dinner aperitif of Sombai, an infused rice wine that translates to "some rice please" in Khmer. This is recommended for early evening. Rice liquor, regional spices, and fruits are blended together to create this delectable mix. A short drive from Siem Reap town, in a quaint wooden stilt house, is the Sombai workshop. These exquisite hand-painted bottles also serve as a unique and interesting memento of your trip to Cambodia.Following a brief tour of the workshop, have dinner at Chanrey Tree, one of the most well-known Khmer eateries in Siem Reap. This modern restaurant will take you on a tour through Cambodian cuisine, including several recipes that were nearly lost from history during the Khmer Rouge. It is situated on the banks of the river and features an intimate eating room, a lush tropical garden, and other features. Transfer from Angkor city to hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Day-05: Depart from Siem Reap to Dhaka. End the tour.

This is your last day in the Wonderland. You can spend the day exploring the city, picking up last-minute trinkets at the Old Market, or simply unwinding before your departure, depending on the time of your flight. We'll drop you off at the airport in plenty of time so you may continue your adventure when it's time to go. Safely reach at home.
