Start in Miami and finish in Dallas! The Explorer tour Eastern Discovery (03 Days) is a 03-days travel package that visits six additional US destinations in addition to Dallas, Texas. The 03-days Eastern Discovery package includes lodging in a hotel, food, transportation, and a knowledgeable guide. This All-American journey begins in Dallas, the city where “bigger is always better.” From there, it travels through seductive New Orleans, musical Memphis, and sun-kissed Miami. Expect to encounter a plethora of world-renowned theme parks (Disneyland, anyone?) musical heritage, and mouthwatering cuisine along the route. After spending these ten incredible days, you will have seen the best that the United States has to offer. You have three days to take advantage of all that Dallas has to offer and to travel a little farther to Fort Worth, which is nearby, for an entirely other kind of Texas experience. Here are some suggestions for making the most of your three days in the DFW region.
Take a guided tour of the city to begin your time in the Big D. Discover the Dallas Arts District, Pioneer Plaza, Dealey Plaza, the John F. Kennedy Memorial, and other downtown attractions by taking a Segway tour. As you travel, discover more about Dallas's past and culture. Visit one of the city's top museums in the afternoon to learn more about the history and culture of the area. JFK's life and death are chronicled in the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, and the Nasher Sculpture Center has 300 pieces of some of the best modern sculpture available. If you want to go solo, make sure to get a multiattraction city pass before heading out onto the streets so you may go at your own speed. Take the elevator to the summit of Reunion Tower in the evening to get a 360-degree panorama of the large metropolis lit up at night.
Today is dedicated to honoring two iconic Dallas experiences: sports and shopping. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Dallas Cowboys Stadium in the morning to see one of the priciest sports arenas ever constructed. Tours take you to places that aren't usually open to the public, like the postgame interview room, team locker rooms, press box, and even the field where you can take a photo in front of the giant screens. Take advantage of a popular Dallas activity after lunch, retail therapy, and visit three of the top malls in the city. Get discounts at Grapevine Mills, treat yourself to luxury at Northpark Center, and peruse the wide range of stores at Galleria Dallas. Take a culinary tour around one of the city's many neighborhoods this evening, such as Uptown, Deep Ellum, West Village, or Downtown, to experience the flavors of Texas.
Despite being Dallas's "twin city," Fort Worth feels very different. A day trip to Fort Worth will allow you to explore the city's downtown on Sundance Square, take in the Water Gardens' breathtaking water features, explore the Fort Worth Cultural District's art collections, and get an Old West experience at the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. When the sun goes down, spend the evening enjoying live country music, food, and two-stepping at Billy Bob's Texas, the biggest honky-tonk in the world. Alternatively, Six Flags Over Texas, located in nearby Arlington, has 212 acres (86 hectares) of rides, parades, concerts, and live entertainment. If you're traveling with family, you might want to consider spending the day there.
